PERO wishes to inform the public of the temporary closure of certain hiking trails.
Please note that during the fall season, access to some trails may be restricted, especially in areas where hunting activities are taking place.
Here is the list of trails closed during the indicated periods:
Closed from September 26 to October 16 and from November 7 to 23, 2026 (Temporarily open from October 17 to November 6)
- Chute Quinn Trails in Montcerf-Lytton
- Lac Gervais Trails – Pointe-à-David sector in Grand-Remous
- Domaine Pine Grove Trails in Grand-Remous
- Mountain Falls Trails in Grand-Remous
Closed from September 26 to October 4, from October 10 to 21, and from November 7 to 22, 2026 (Temporarily open from October 5 to 9 and from October 22 to November 6)
- Pont-de-pierre Trails in Déléage
- Chute Rouge Trails in Sainte-Thérèse-de-la-Gatineau
- Mont Cayamant Trails in Cayamant
- Mont Morissette Trails in Blue Sea – South Sector (trails 3-4-5-6)
Closed from November 7 to November 22 2026 inclusively
- Lac Mud Trails in Gracefield
Closed from October 30 to November 22 2026 inclusively
- Majopial Trails in Bouchette

- Chutes Park Trails in Denholm
- Mont Morissette Trails in Blue Sea – North Sector (trails 1-2)
Hunting season is currently underway. For your safety, we kindly ask that you wear high-visibility clothing when using the trails.
