Escape on the trails of the Valley
The Outaouais Recreotourism Excellence (PERO) is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and developing non-motorized activities in the Vallée-de-la-Gatineau.
Thanks to their work, an extensive trail network has been developed and upgraded to offer experiences year-round: hiking, snowshoeing, and several trails dedicated to cross-country skiing.
Today, 12 of the 17 municipalities in the Vallée-de-la-Gatineau offer a variety of trails, providing a full immersion in nature. Each trail promises a memorable adventure, whether for a short walk or a more challenging outing.
For each trail, you’ll find a detailed map, helpful information, and all the guidance you need to plan your excursion.

At La Boutique du Sommet, located at 261 Route 105 in Messines, cross-country ski equipment is available free of charge from 10 a.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
