The Domaine des Huards outfitter is pleased to offer a truly unique tourist attraction, featuring a terrace bar and an economuseum dedicated to log driving.
It is worth recalling that the Williamson was built in Louisiana in 1943. The boat was officially registered under the name W.J. Williamson on August 2, 1948. It served, in many ways, as the flagship of the former CIP fleet, both because of its size and its history.
It was the largest log-driving boat on the Baskatong: measuring 85 feet in length and weighing 120 tons, it was even larger than the Pytonga. Moreover, it remains to this day the largest boat ever to navigate on the Baskatong Reservoir.
